About US?
Precious Promises Preschool is a ministry of First Christian Church, a nondenominational church, governed by an advisory team made up of various members of the congregation who have a heart for children. This team approves all policy that is then administered by the Preschool Administrator who is responsible to the Advisory Team for the daily operations of the program.  We strive to work as partners with families to provide a fun loving Christian environment that is intellectually stimulating and emotionally/socially wholesome. For children to grow and learn they must first be surrounded by love and respect. Allowing freedom within clear limits, each child is given the opportunity to grow and develop to his or her individual full potential. We believe that children are a gift from God. Helping them to learn is a divine privilege. We give our best effort to be a positive role model that instills Christian values that will help your child through the journey of life. We use hands-on stories and activities that teach your child the fundamental concepts of the beautiful diverse world God created! There is so much for children to learn, yet so much for them to offer!

Our Four Focus Areas

Spiritually

At Precious Promises Preschool, your child will begin to understand the love and acceptance of Jesus towards all people as we endeavor to demonstrate God's love to your child as he interacts with other children and teachers.  We want the children to recognize that God is the Creator, Jesus is His Son, and that He loves and accepts us as we are.

Socially

Your child will learn the privileges and limits of group life.  Your child will begin to develop a caring attitude toward others and will begin to develop self-discipline through gradually learning to make wise choices.

Emotionally

 Your child will develop a positive self-concept, learning to love and accept others as he or she is loved and accepted.  This preschool will help your child learn to verbally express both positive and negative feelings.

Cognitively-Intellectually

 Your child will be encouraged to build skills in listening and language development and understand concepts related to size, shape, space, color, and distance.  Reading and math readiness skills will be practiced.  Your child will be given the opportunity to reason, discover, remember, experiment, and generalize.
